Target release date LO4
Due to our estimate of the production schedule, we think that November 2015 would be an appropriate date to aim for releasing the final game.

Gameplay LO4
The gameplay of Bernard is quite simple which is another reason as to why we put it on the platform of 3DS/DS as the controls on that are easy to use, especially for younger people. You have to complete each level without running out of lives which are represented as carrots.
Target Audience LO4
12-18 year old male. BC1,C2 is the target audience we have chosen. We think this target audience will fit our game because they have to be young to enjoy the game because it is not complex. Also we chose that social grade because the genre and style of this game would appeal to the lower middle class due to the occasional violent themes and props such as guns.

Legal and ethical LO4
Legal and Ethical
PEGI is a European video game content rating system which gives games age ratings based on their content. For example if the game included references to drugs and sex it would have to be a 16 or 18 age rating. Due to our game having mild fantasy violence and fear, we've decided to rate our game a 12. We also thought this age would be appropriate for the platform the game is on due to 12 being a suitable age for a DS player.
We will not being using anything copyrighted within the game as everything will be original.

Plot synopsis LO4
Bernard is a genetically modified platypus. He was held captive by the human and his wise sloth friends last wish was that Bernard would take down fugitives and became the best bounty hunter in the land. So with this incentive he broke out of the lab and went on his mission. He grabbed basic weapons and amor. Bernard goes on his mission to find the evil honey badger fugitive and encounters different challenges and makes a lot of friends.
Platform requirements LO4
Platform chosen:
3DS/DS
This is because it is a third person shooter game so we thought that the platform of 3DS/DS would be appropriate. Also, we have the aim of making an exclusive deal with Nintendo, therefore meaning that we would only need the technologies for one engine. Also, due to the game being for a slightly younger audience, we thought that the platform of Nintendo DS would be appropriate as that platform is stereotypically for a younger age group.

Game ideas LO4
Kim Jon Un Horrywood
Reality game. You play Kim Jon Un in Hollywood, Your aim is to become famous enough to take over the world. You have to assassinate taylor swift, kanye west and Barrack obama, this is in 1v1 battles. Also there are small min games to get higher up in the ranks.
Bunny the bounty hunter
You play a Bunny that has to find wanted people. You face challenges and have distractions. There is a bid story line.
Animal Simulator
You play any animal on first person. You run though towns terrorising people and causing distruction to the buildings. The more building you disroy the more points you get to unlock more animals. But you have to hide to avoid the tanks by hiding behind people
It would be available on PC, 3DS and DS, Xbox 360 and One, and PS4. This is because it will be able to be played by a lot of gamers. The target audience would be 13-19 year old males. This is because the game isn't complicated and doesn't require much skill. The genre would be simulater because you play an animal. The games that I would be competing with goat simulator, bear simulator and badger kingdom.

Review of paper and video review LO2
In the paper review it talks about the first person shooter for the genre. It says that the gun play is
satisfying and the weapons feel hefty and deadly. The YouTube video also says that the genre is first person shooter. It's descried as a responsive shooter that runs smoothly and plays well. It says that the gun play is strong. Both reviews say similar things that the genre to the other Wolfenstein games. Also it has improved from the others but still has room for improvement. Both the reviews are positive about the genre.
Target Audience
Neither of the reviews talk about the target audience. but we can assume that the target audience is people that have played the previous wolfenstein games because both of them compare the game with other wolfenstein games. A thing that only wolfenstein players know. Both reviews assume that the reader has played the previous games.
Narrative/Storyline
Both of the reviews talk about how the game it is set in a world where the Germans won WW2. They both need to discuss it because the reader/viewer need to know the narrative. Narrative is vitally important to a game and is useful to know before buying a game. So both games go into detail about the narrative.
Characters
The video review talks about the main character, BJ Blaskowits. They talk about how he has a lot more depth compared to previous Wolfenstein games. Also it says that the game explores his ability to love and care for others. This makes the game play more enjoyable. But in this review it only talks about the main character. But in the paper review talks about BJ Blaskowits and his character development in the new game. This is very similar to the video review. However the magazine talks about Fergus. Fergus is BJ Blaskowits' squad leader. It was nice that the magazine spoke about other characters because the main character is not always a persons favourite.
Gameplay
The video review describes the game play as realistic and that they wished that the game play evenly met the presentation. This is very positive but it does give a clear description of the game play to the viewer and they will easily be able to understand why. Because of the clips of game play that they have on the video. In the paper magazine says that it has memorable tutorials and likeable characters. The game play is not spoken about in much detail which would be slightly frustrating for the reader. This is because game play is very important.
Platform
On the video review the game is played on a PlayStation 4, but it does briefly mention that you can play it on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. They only spoke about the 23 newest platforms because these are ones that most gamers play on. However the paper review says that the game is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The paper review has enough space to write down all the platforms.
Personal Recommendation
The video review channel gives each game they review a rating out of 10. So they gave Wolfenstein 7.9 and they said it was well written and had fun game play. This rating system is good because it can easily be compared to other games. For the paper review their recommendation was that it is a good looking game and there is good character development.

3 Favourite games LO1
My 3 favourite games are Zelda a link between worlds, Animal Crossing new leaf and Mario kart.
Zelda a link between worlds
The reviewer loved the game because of it puzzle solving and the fact that some of the dungeons are in similar places to the previous Zelda games. The fact that all the different equipment needs yo be used and they are needed in the dogengs is good. He said because nintendo did not make a Zelda game for such a long time, he expected that it would be hard to get back into Links world. But the game really easily submerges you in the world and makes you feel incontol. The rating he game it is 9/10.
Animal Crossing new leaf
The reviewer loved this game and all the improvements that came from it. She loved that you got to be the mayor, choose you towns map and where your house is. She said it was great that the game still has the original set out and charaters. She gave it a 9.6/10
Mario kart 8
